Lorraine Millan, a special needs mom herself, has been serving families and individuals living with social and behavioral challenges for over 20 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master's degree in Applied Psychology from NYU's School of Education. She currently provides consultation services to parents, educators and service providers in the NYC area.

Lorraine started her career as a behavior management specialist and worked closely with families living with severe behavioral issues. After her own child was diagnosed, she dedicated her efforts to improving services for individuals with Autism in her community. A founding member of several special needs non-profit groups, she also assisted in the development of two specialized school programs for the NYC Department of Education. For eight years, Lorraine was the Director of the Center for Social Communication Enhancement, a social skills and outreach program. Lorraine regularly provides professional training and advisement to local public and parochial schools, agencies, therapists and medical professionals in her community.

As the parent of a special needs child, Lorraine understands the ongoing challenges that are faced by individuals and their families on a daily basis. For two decades she has devoted herself to improving the lives of socially challenged individuals and their families in the New York City area. It is Lorraine's mission to expand competent and compassionate care to this greatly misunderstood and under-serviced population.
